Appetite for Destruction: A Tribute to Guns N’ Roses

For more than a decade, the Guns N' Roses tribute band Appetite for Destruction has been on the road, satiating rock 'n' roll cravings with its raucous, authentic act. Looking, sounding, and forging signatures just like its idols, the band evokes the famed original lineup of Guns N’ Roses. Singer Chad Atkins accurately apes Axl Rose's signature pipes, stage banter, and enflamed microphone while Mike "Junior" Edington reincarnates Slash's Les Paul fret-mongering and vision-impairing hair. For their Kings of Hollywood tour, the group celebrates ’80s Sunset Strip excess alongside Mötley Crüe tribute Red White and Crüe and Poison tribute Poison’d.

Appetite for Destruction – “Welcome to the Jungle”

House of Blues New Orleans

At home in the French Quarter, the House of Blues New Orleans keeps its heritage ever near with a metal box of mud from the Mississippi Delta hidden beneath its stage. Around this, more than 290 pieces of folk art—one of the largest collections in the country—decorate the walls and cover up the evidence of indoor shot-put practice. Also bringing its Southern charm and homestyle feel are hardwood floors, no less than three bars, and two levels for concert viewing.
