Quarterback Case Keenum leads gridiron giants against snarling opponents in an effort to make a run at this year's Conference USA.
Like cliff diving or ferret ownership, football is an endeavor best watched from the sidelines. Witness acts of bodily bravery with today’s GrouponLive deal to a University of Houston Cougars home football game at Robertson Stadium. Stadium gates open 2.5 hours before kickoff. Choose from the following options:
• For $35, you get one reserved side-line ticket to the game (up to a $50 value) against UCLA on Saturday, September 3, at 2:30 p.m.
• For $15, you get one reserved side-line ticket (up to a $30 value) to the game against Georgia State on Saturday, September 24, at 7 p.m.
• For $18, you get one reserved side-line ticket (up to a $35 value) to the game against East Carolina on Saturday, October 8, at 6 p.m.
The University of Houston Cougars hook their claws into the gridiron as they prepare to make a run at this year’s Conference USA title with stifling defense and a run-and-gun passing attack. After tearing his ACL early last season, golden-armed quarterback Case Keenum returns to chase the NCAA career passing yards record and restore the Cougar’s offense to its 2009 brilliance. This time around, he will be joined by a defensive unit whose kitten teeth have grown into sabers capable of slashing through the staunchest of offensive lines. Head coach Kelvin Sumlin will use wisdom gleaned from two bowl appearances to decorate his clipboard with schemes designed to make opposing mascots shake their oversized heads in disbelief.
Reserved side-line seats allow up-close views of the padded pummeling. Games against Georgia State and East Carolina will be televised on ESPN3, so fans should wear their biggest fake cat whiskers if they wish to taste the fleeting fruit of fame.
All UH Main Campus students are admitted free to regular season football home games. This Groupon does not include parking.
