The show's illusions see Amodei recreating the story of William Tell using only an audience member, an apple, and a sharpened dart, and demonstrating savant-like mental powers inspired by Rain Man and enabled by having Dustin Hoffman whisper facts from the wings. Lovely cellists accompany the performance, intensifying the atmosphere with classical tunes by Vivaldi and Bach as well as popular music from such films as Mission Impossible and The Pink Panther. A private luxury suite—modeled after a Madison Avenue apartment—houses shows with intimate aplomb, with room for just 65 guests, or 65 trench coats each inhabited by a colony of rabbits.
