Groups meet at Suzie's Farm, a USDA-certified organic farm that grows more than 100 varieties of seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruits year-round.

Each event is capped at 20 purchasers.


What You'll Do

Pizza may be one of the world's most ubiquitous foods, but that only makes it more fertile ground for invention and customization. In this class, you'll craft your own whole wheat pizza dough using local beer, top it with fresh meat and produce from Suzie's Farm, and cook it to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The workshop includes hands-on instruction from culinary expert Jenn Felmley, as well as a tour of the farm.

Though Chef Jenn Felmley earned degrees in Culinary Arts and Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University, her culinary education truly began when she was a child watching her grandmother in the kitchen. Her hunger to learn has taken her to kitchens in Italy, Germany, England, and Carlsbad, California, where she gained experience in Ayurvedic cuisine. Her eclectic background and emphasis on nutrition has helped her grow into a dynamic chef and culinary educator.
