Adult-contemporary singer-songwriter Jim Brickman has spent nearly 20 years astride the world of music, with six gold- and platinum-selling albums, 28 charted adult-radio hits, and two Grammy nominations. On March 2, however, he plays second fiddle to the '70s performers who inspired him in his youth. With his twinkling eyes and flashy grin, David Cassidy catapulted himself into the hearts of ’70s audiences and teenage birds everywhere from the moment he appeared on the hit TV show_The Partridge Family_. “I Think I Love You,” the 1970 hit with Cassidy’s bubblegum tenor at the helm, soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart, and other romantic tracks such as 1985’s “Heart of Emotion,” 1992’s “I’ll Never Stop Loving You,” and 2007’s dance remix of “I Woke Up in Love This Morning” further solidified him as a beloved crooner. Rita Coolidge tugs at audiences' heartstrings with renditions of songs by Boz Scaggs, Willie Nelson, and The Temptations, made all the more resonant by her smoky voice and earnest stage presence.

Disco and R&B star Thelma Houston—best known for her wildly popular cover of "Don’t Leave Me This Way"—joins original Jesus Christ Superstar cast member and disco queen Yvonne Elliman as she continues her resurgence, begun in 2004 after a decades-long hiatus and the reclamation of her voice from a jealous sea witch. Stephen Bishop rounds out the nostalgic lineup, showing the singing and strumming skills that landed him composition gigs for a string of Hollywood hits. His vocals stretch from the playful falsetto exhibited in the theme from Animal House to the contemplative tenor heard in “It Might Be You (Theme From Tootsie).” Although his acclaimed “Separate Lives” was initially sung by Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin for the 1985 film _White Nights_—earning Bishop an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song—he often it makes it his own during acoustic performances. David Pack, former singer-songwriter of the rock group Ambrosia, has progressed into a Grammy-winning producing and music director career. Dealing with the likes of Barbara Streisand and Elton John's Aids Project L.A. Commitment to Lilfe Concert and Oprah Winfrey's Volunteer Summit, his collected works have sold more than 40 million copies worldwide.
