In a Nutshell

Aerialists soar through the air dangling from trapezes by their teeth and toes at a family circus with high-wire acts and hilarious clowns

The Fine Print

Without circuses, grownups could only relive their childhoods by wearing oversize trench coats and pretending to be two kids pretending to be an adult. Step right up to this GrouponLive deal to see the Jordan World Circus. Choose between the following options:

  • For $6, you get one ticket for children aged 2–12 (a $12.99 value).
  • For $8, you get one adult ticket (a $16.99 value).

For either option, choose between the following performances:

Children younger than 2 are admitted free, and doors open at 5:30 p.m. for both performances.

The Jordan World Circus—also known as Las Cruces Shrine Circus—keeps hands applauding with a two-hour family-friendly spectacle packed with exotic animals, hilarious clowns, and gravity-defying acts. Although acts may vary, audiences can expect to crane their necks skyward as the Toscano Troupe balances itself on a half-inch wire and builds a seven-person pyramid. Equally audacious about performing in high altitudes, Romania natives Giorgio and Lusia Marinof hang on trapezes by their teeth and toes while contorting their bodies into seemingly impossible back plunges and layouts.

The Steeple family’s third generation of humane bear handlers corrals a bunch of bandana-wearing brown bruins from the Wild West and encourages their fuzzy friends to show off their many talents. Trained since they were cubs, these bears push stagecoaches, walk on wagon wheels, and jump through fire, all in an attempt to wake up from three-month snoozes that were only supposed to be 10-minute power naps. The high-octane entertainment reaches a fever pitch when motorcycle daredevils speed through the arena and inside the dramatic Globe of Death.

The Groupon Guide to: Victorian Housekeeping

Victorian England was a truly innovative time, and many of their practices are still used today. Give your home a timeless feel with these useful Victorian housekeeping tips:

  • One is advised to keep a hedgehog in one’s kitchen to track and consume winged pests. He should be given a ceremonial hat and epaulets and thusly referred to as one’s kitchen soldier.

  • When polishing one’s bronzed baby teeth and statues of weeping seraphim, one must never wipe in the vulgar counterclockwise motion.

  • Cleanse a room with fire should anyone have committed nudity in it.

  • Ease your toils by apprehending a passing waif and attach soaped mops to his stalwart feet. Then inform him that this Christmas he shall receive a portion of sweet meats. His excited dances will clean all that surrounds him. Once done have the police escort him to the debtors' prison.

  • Only tears of genuine repentance shall remove any stains from spilt food.

Why is history full of weirdos? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
