Former Las Vegas Wrangler Jeff Hazelwood and ex-UNLV captain Aaron Baca lead the Hookers with their speed and tenacity, while Kent State star Todd Brautigam provides the kind of defense that helped the Hookers win the 2007 USA Hockey national championship.

The Hookers' name, of course, is a playful double entendre that refers to both the sport's hooking penalty and Nevada's lax fishing laws. Throughout the season, the team gives back to the community by organizing charity games and events to raise funds for cancer patients.
