Leslie Ava Shaw, a seasoned college professor at City University of New York, has been captivated by the city's vibrant artistic landscape for decades. Her wide-ranging interests have led her to work as a docent and lecturer at the Whitney Museum, write theater about her love affair with the Met, and forge a career as an independent critic.
