The Scouting Report
With a confident lead in the Western Conference's Pacific Division, the L.A. Clippers are a lock for their first back-to-back playoff appearance since 1993. The team’s been having a franchise season this year, posting a 47–22 record (through 69 games) that's set to end up best in team history. The Clippers have also managed to outscore opponents by an average of 6.6 points per game this season, the fourth-best average in the NBA.
During these two late-season home games against Indiana and Minnesota, the Clippers are hoping to go about business as usual: so far this season, the team has beaten the Pacers in a previous matchup, swept three games against the Timberwolves, and not been attacked by wild bears.
Los Angeles Clippers
Founded as the Buffalo Braves in 1970, the Clippers picked up their current moniker from the clipper ships in the harbors of San Diego. The team ship ran aground in Los Angeles for the 1984–85 NBA season and has remained there ever since. Playing their home games in the Staples Center since 1999, the Clippers dazzle up to 19,000 fans each time they take the court.
Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.
