Listening to jazz and drinking wine have become some of man's top recreational activities, just after contemplating infinity and napping in the fridge. Let smooth saxophones entertain you with this GrouponLive deal to the Wine and Jazz Retreat at Under the Event Tent in Titusville. For $35, you get admission for one on Saturday, October 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (a $75 value). Admission includes:

At Wine and Jazz Retreat, festivalgoers gather under a sprawling tent to pair food and wine samples with the tunes of renowned jazz musicians. Saxophonist Tony Wynn brings his disarming charm to his set as he plays improvised riffs and chilled songs from his two albums, A Quiet Time and A Matter of Fact. Pulling from his Cuban heritage, Wynn adds Latin flourishes to classic bebop sounds, producing an inimitable blend that he’s gifted to audiences when sharing the stage with the likes of Michael Buble, Lenny Williams, and the late Isaac Hayes. Pianist and singer Cameron Brown believes in the healing properties of music, touching on subjects such as bullying and suicide as he spins gentle melodies on the keys and propels his high-register tenor into the crowd. As music fills the tent, listeners swill sips of ambrosias that hail from the Virginia Wine Trail. Located near Monticello, Jefferson’s famed estate, the trail plays home to more than 20 wineries. Their bottled libations are known for their distinct regional flavors and reciting the Declaration of Independence in its entirety when uncorked.

Loughman Lake Beer and Food Fest

The Loughman Lake Beer and Food Fest, formerly known as the Titusville Craft Beer Festival, sets a spread of up to 70 domestic and craft beers for festival-goers to sample amidst the scenic vista at Loughman Lake. Since 2012, the festival has been a destination for fun lovers of all stripes: guests can chew the fat about their favorite baseball teams or play full-contact chess in the sports lounge, toast digital gladiators in the video-game area, or rock out to live music played throughout the day. Thanks to the new venue, the festival also offers a chance to jet across the wetlands on an airboat with reservations through the lakeside lodge.
