The Scouting Report

As the NBA regular season charges toward the homestretch, the Bucks continue to hold to the eighth and final playoff berth in a rough-and-tumble Eastern Conference. Through 59 games, the team sits at 30–29—just 3.5 games behind the fifth-place Atlanta Hawks, a team they can gain ground on with a win on March 24. This tight regular-season race makes every March and April game critical as the Bucks—who have the third-highest scoring offense in the conference—vie for an improved playoff seeding as the postseason and their mascot's bedtime draw near.

Milwaukee Bucks

Founded in 1968, the Milwaukee Bucks were still but yearlings when they won the NBA championship in 1971. Since then, the team has won 12 more division titles and produced some of basketball's greatest stars. Dressed in their iconic white with stripes of hunter green—a fitting shade, as the team is named after dollar bills—the Bucks take the court in front of crowds that cheer at the antics and acrobatic stunts of the hometown sweetheart, Bango.

The Groupon Guide to: Playground Games

Although scientists have tried to quash children's dangerously powerful imaginations with high-tech video games and distracting pocket telephones, they have still been unable to fully eliminate these popular technology-free schoolyard games:

Red Rover: Two opposing chains of locked-arm children take turns volleying sacrificial members of their row toward the other chain in hopes of breaking it. The first team to be dragged into the pond loses.

Hidesies & Findsies: One player covers their eyes and counts as high as he is able to while the other players go hither and elsewhiles, squeezing themselves into hollow logs and crevices. The last player to be found is the winner, and it is now their turn to cover their eyes and be abandoned by their friends.

Freeze Tag: Regular tag played cautiously on the surface of a frozen lake

Red Light, Green Light: This imaginative game of stop and go allows children a safe outlet in which to exercise their secret desire to play in traffic. The winner is parents.
