Many standup comedians offer hilarious observations about everyday things, such as how men and women are different or why we should live in constant fear of the all-powerful sun's unchecked control over our feeble planet. Laugh away your worries with this GrouponLive deal to see Brody & Esther at Woodlands Tavern. For $25, you get one VIP admission for seating in the first three rows on Saturday, January 19, at 8 p.m. (up to a $62 value, including all fees). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. VIP admission includes a meet and greet and a professionally taken photograph with the comedians. Photos will be e-mailed to Groupon buyers after the show.

The comedic duo of Brody & Esther is comprised of Brody Stevens and Esther Povitsky, two accomplished standups who transport their distinctive humorous outlooks to the Woodlands Tavern stage. A regular on the round table on Chelsea Lately and a character actor in both of The Hangover films, Brody continues to sharpen his comedic claws through appearances on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and frequent sets at LA’s Comedy Store and The Improv LA. Brody is always moving, whether he shifts slightly from side to side or traverses the stage with a deliberately plodding pace, endearing the audience to him with self-deprecating witticisms on working out, living with his sister, and eating fast food.

Esther Povitsky, best known by her nickname “Little Esther,” uses her diminutive stature to her comedic advantage, lobbing unexpected quips at the audience with her signature laid-back cadence. The comedy buff, who grew up emulating the players on Saturday Night Live, has taken over the coveted stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the airwaves on The Joe Rogan Experience, sharing her no-holds-barred views of the world.
