Dance helps people express themselves: a slow pirouette can signify sadness, while breakdancing on giant piano keys can signify a rejection of one's classical education. Make a statement with this GrouponLive deal.

The Seventh Love
In preparation for its upcoming 40th anniversary, Natya Dance Theatre brings to life the colorful love stories of Krishna for the world premiere of The Seventh Love. Classical Indian dance explores new interpretations of sacred texts, portraying the divine prankster with respect and grace. Storyteller David Kersnar of the Tony-winning Lookingglass Theatre Company collaborated with Natya for this production, just as he did in last year's Sita Ram.
Natya Dance Theatre
Called "admirably precise dancers" by the New York Times, Natya Dance Theatre has more than a few accomplishments beneath its collective belt. The classic Indian dancers have collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, were the first company from the United States to appear at New York's World Music Institute, and are capable of dominating any and all Dance Dance Revolution marathons. They are six-time recipients of the Chicago Reader's "Critic's Choice" award and a 2004 recipient of the Paul Berger Arts Entrepreneurship Award from Columbia College Chicago. Besides their performances, Natya has been running a dance school for nearly 40 years, and maintains a touring company that performs across the world.
