Pleasure P

Originally rising to fame as one of the four brothers who made up the R&B/hip-hop group Pretty Ricky, Pleasure P—aka Marcus Cooper—split off on his own in 2007. His first studio album, 2009’s The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, launched him into Billboard notoriety and won praise from Allmusic.com, which called it “a treat for those who like what the singer brought to Pretty Ricky.” In the years since, his career has continued to grow, fueled by such high-profile gigs as guest singing on Flo Rida’s R.O.O.T.S. Now touring in the run up to his next album, King of Romance, Pleasure P spins his silky smooth vocals and sensual lyrics into tracks such as “I Like Girls,” which gets audiences hot under the collar without stuffing their shirts with wool. <p>
