The seasoned jesters of the Don't Feed the Actors comedy troupe take on a score of different characters during monthly dinner-theater performances. The Central New York Playhouse

Even though central New York's theater scene blossoms with an ever-growing number of production companies, space for carrying out performances is limited. The Central New York Playhouse was built out of this necessity in fall 2012, accommodating both intimate and large-scale performances inside ShoppingTown Mall. Designed by 2012 SALT Award nominee and stage designer Navroz Dabu, the 4,500-square-foot space allows local companies to rent out its stage for a variety of productions, from improv comedy nights to all-dog productions of Hamlet.
