The Scouting Report

When the Oakland A’s get hot, they stay hot. After scorching through the second half of last season en route to an AL West crown, the A’s have started to sizzle again–albeit, much earlier in the season this time. The team finished May by besting the defending champion Giants in three of four games, and began June with a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox. That series included two shutouts from an Oakland pitching staff that continues to build on its stellar 2012 campaign, when it finished with the fifth lowest ERA in all of baseball.

Reviews

Throughout the years, the A's have brought me more moments of sheer, unadulterated joy than pretty much anything else I can think of.
