In a Nutshell

Exotic animals, death-defying stunts, and chortle-inducing clowns roll into town for a 90-minute, family-friendly spectacle

The Fine Print

Without a circus in town, audiences would have to quench their thirsts for aerial thrills by watching window cleaners eating sandwiches on their lunch breaks. Take in flashier stunts with this GrouponLive deal to see Piccadilly Circus perform its new show, Blammo!, at the Barton Coliseum. For $38, you get a family outing with general-admission seating (up to a $92.50 value). The outing includes:

  • Two adult tickets (up to a $39.50 value, including all ticketing fees)
  • Tickets for up to four children younger than 13 (up to a $53 value, including all ticketing fees)

Doors open one hour before each show. Choose from the following performances:

  • Saturday, February 16, at 1:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 16, at 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 17, at 1 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 17, at 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 17, at 6 p.m.

Celebrating its 25th year, the Piccadilly Circus delights family audiences around the country with its touring spectacle of suspenseful thrills and slapstick laughs. Its newest 90-minute extravaganza, Blammo!, rolls out such death-defying acts as motorcyclist cowboys somersaulting in the "globe of death," warriors performing stunts on horseback, contortionists impossibly bending their limbs, and middle-aged men cutting back on their sodium intake. Exotic animals, including camels and zebras, also mosey across the arena floor. As cirque artists, soaring aerialists, and zany clowns unpack their bags of tricks, spectators may feel pangs of regret about youthful decisions to run away from the circus and enroll in actuarial school.

The Groupon Guide to: Where Babies Come From

Having “the talk” with your child can be awkward—especially if your child is still too young to understand the nuances of human reproduction or, worse, is a giggler. Postpone the difficult conversation a few more months with one of these classic explanations about where babies come from:

  • Babies are dropped down the chimney by storks who swoop down and steal them from other families.
  • Babies are hatched from the cabbage patch, so if you think about it, eating vegetables is essentially cannibalism.
  • Babies are assembled at the hospital and wrapped tightly in a blanket until all the glue is dry.
  • When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, their psychic harmonics produce an cytoplasmic egg that must be kept in a dark closet for nine months.
  • Babies are an invention of the celebrity-obsessed media to sell magazine covers of pregnant starlets.

Is it time to tell your kids the truth about where babies come from? Learn how with today's Groupon Guide.
