As a Class-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, the Volcanoes' past clubs have seen such MLB stars as Buster Posey, Tim Lincecum, and Pablo Sandoval slug and pitch their way through the lineup while nursing their infant gloves. This season, third baseman Joseph Rapp anchors the offense, leading the team with five home runs and 18 RBIs after 81 at-bats.

Crowds of up to 4,252 voracious Volcanoes backers flow into Volcanoes Stadium, where concession stands, a sports bar, and a kids' playground join forces to offer a stacked lineup of off-the-field extras. During the Saturday game, fans will have the chance to meet former Giants players during a free autograph session, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Volcanoes players lead a one-hour baseball clinic for kids, teaching them how to approach baseball fundamentals and avoid trampling the dandelions in center field.
