T-Mobile All-Star FanFest
Before the 85th mid-summer classic transforms Target Field into a star-spangled celebration on July 15, the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest prepares fans for the festivities with an impressive lineup of its own. Unfolding inside the MPLS Convention Center, the annual event immerses baseball fans in an interactive baseball theme park complete with memorabilia, autograph signings, and visits from the game's legends—including the league's official trophies, which are usually stowed away in the Commissioner's sock drawer.
During their visit, fans can improve their on-the-field skills thanks to training drills and clinics led by MLB coaches and current and former stars. Attendees can buy and sell cards and memorabilia at the Collector's Showcase or peruse artifacts plucked from Twins history in the Hometown Heroes section. The multi-day event buzzes with special appearances, too, including from the World's Largest Baseball, which bears iconic autographs and will one day hatch baseball's next litter of umpires. Just like at the park, fans can also step away from the action to fill up on hotdogs, pretzels, and signature snacks from stadiums around the league.
