In a Nutshell

The duo behind “Don't Trust Me” and “Touchin' on My” brings party-tunes with the help of frat-rapper Sammy Adams and neo-crooner Outasight

The Fine Print

Every rap track must have a solid backbeat, which can be composed of the sound of drums, handclaps, or birds flying into glass doors. Feel the rhythm with this GrouponLive deal to The Crofoot in Pontiac. Choose from the following options:

  • For $12, you get one ticket for general admission to see 3OH!3 with Outasight and Silas on Wednesday, October 10, at 7 p.m. (up to a $27.81 value, including all fees). Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • For $25, you get two tickets for general admission to the above concert (up to a $55.62 value, including all fees).
  • For $12, you get $25 worth of drinks or tickets for any show at The Crofoot

Since born superstars Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte formed 3OH!3 as students at the University of Colorado eight years ago, the duo's entendre-laden rap-pop has become a staple of dance clubs across the country. Masking their tireless work ethic behind a cheeky irreverence, since 2007 the pair have dropped such glitched-out hits as the Billboard pop chart-topper “Don't Trust Me,” the impishly bleeped “Touchin on My,” and the recently released “You're Going to Love This,” an unapologetically swaggering anthem for the young and footloose. Though their upcoming album, Omens, is self-produced, like their debut, the band has shown a collaborative spirit with the likes of Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Lil Jon.

Filling out this beat-battered party are Sammy Adams, Outasight, and Silas. A lifelong musician with a deep-seated interest in hip-hop and electronica, Adams pays tribute to hometown band The Pixies with the single “Blow Up,” built around the intro to “Where Is My Mind.” Outasight favors heavily R & B-influenced tunes, and his radio-dominating “Tonight Is the Night” leaves fans as bright-eyed and swivel-hipped as a jack-o'-lantern with a G.I. Joe body.

The Groupon Guide to: Baby Proofing Your Home

For some parents, keeping a new baby safe is their highest priority—even above their own comfort. What are some ways to make your home safe for the new baby?

• Block exposed electrical outlets with a glob of nontoxic baby wax.
• Replace curious, slobbering pets with more cuddly stuffed animal versions.
• File down the sharp corners on any table or, better yet, throw your furniture out and eat everything standing over the sink.
• Stop swearing! Babies can sense when you express your emotions in order to feel better—instead, keep it bottled up throughout their childhood.
• Keep your newly safe house clean and organized by never bringing an unpredictable baby into it.

How can you keep your house safe for and from a baby?
