The Tibet House US XXII Annual Benefit Concert stages an evening’s worth of star-filled entertainment to benefit and spotlight Tibetan culture. Seated along the walls of a picturesque balcony, attendees can peer down at performances from Lou Reed, James Blake, Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Das Racist, Stephin Merritt, Antony, Rahzel, and Dechen Shak-Dagsay in what organizer Glass called “a celebration of a culture which is surviving in a way no one expected it would.” The concert will take place on the historic Perelman Stage, renowned for its acoustics and Italian Renaissance design rife with white walls, gold fixtures, and graffiti tags from Michelangelo.

The Groupon Guide to: Urban Murals

Urban murals are the best art because they're the biggest art. Here are some of the most inspiring scenes that can be found in every urban mural:

• Children with huge smiles full of music notes instead of teeth

• Citizens of all races holding hands in a chain to block a bulldozer that is approaching a hospital

• A crack in the sidewalk—inside it, there's a family having dinner

• Two old women playing chess for once

• All of the city's past mayors lifting a school bus full of sick zoo animals

• Roses sprouting out of guns, being watered by a blind man with a baby on his shoulders
