Going to a basketball game lets fans feel the excitement and hear the pleas for quiet from the family living underneath the bleachers. Root for the home team with this GrouponLive deal to the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden. For $22, you get one G-Pass for seating in the rear of floor sections 1–3 or 7–9, or 100-level sections 104, 110, 114, or 120 (up to a $45 value, including all fees). Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call. Choose between the following game options:

  • The semifinal doubleheader on Thursday, November 15. Alabama vs. Oregon State will begin at 7 p.m.; Villanova vs. Purdue will begin at 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
  • The championship doubleheader on Friday, November 16. The consolation game will begin at 5 p.m.; the championship game will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, the 2K Sports Classic takes over Madison Square Garden's hallowed arena for an early test of four promising Division I teams. With a squad that includes six incoming freshmen and just two seniors, the Villanova Wildcats hope that an infusion of fresh skill will erase last season's skid, in which they went 8–19 after a fiery 5–0 start. Alabama Crimson Tide’s similarly youthful lineup features several players with pacifiers around their necks and just one senior—guard Andrew Steele, who set a series of personal bests last year despite battling injuries—pushing toward a second consecutive berth in the NCAA Championship. The Purdue Boilermakers set their sights on their seventh consecutive season with 20+ wins, continuing their strong showing in the Big Ten. After capping off last season with their second 20-win season since 1989–90 when legendary point guard Gary Payton led the team, the Oregon State Beavers return to the hardwood with four of their starters and lockets with the hair of every departed starter.

Madison Square Garden
