The Grammy-winning trio Train freights a cargo of breezy melodies and poignant jams, satiating legions of fans on the Mermaids of Alcatraz Tour 2013. With intrinsically catchy beats and crossover appeal, Train's euphonic anthems bridge the gap between the hearts and brains of millions. Best known for Grammy-magnet singles such as “Hey, Soul Sister,” “Drops of Jupiter,” and “Calling All Angels,” Train’s grooves, combined with Patrick Monahan’s lilting vocals, stick in ears like relentless peanut butter. During the gripping live show, devotees can expect sing-alongs from Train’s catalog of smashes and cochleae candy from the band's latest album, California 37. Train even tickles diehard fans' other senses with its own wine and chocolate brand, the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co., which features song-based libations such as the Soul Sister pinot noir and the Drops of Jupiter red wine, fermented from astronaut tears.

Singer, poet, and guitarist Michael Franti broke onto the scene with boundary-pushing experiments in industrial music, jazz, and hip-hop before channeling his heightened social consciousness into a sunnier style. With a six-piece band including vocalist Jolene Rust and Nigerian-trained drummer Manas Itiene, he conducts a peace train that rolls on deep grooves of reggae, rap, folk, and soul. The band's most recent album,  _The Sound of Sunshine_, has global inspiration built right into its DNA: many of the acoustic-based tracks were variously written in Bali, recorded in arena locker rooms in Canada, or produced in Jamaica, influences that spill out in their onstage instrumentation.

Train’s old touring buddy Gavin DeGraw croons artfully penned lyrics with an acoustic pop sensibility. Exploding onto the scene as the singer-songwriter behind One Tree Hill's theme song, "I Don't Want to Be," DeGraw crafts albums that cement him to the pop charts time and time again. On his latest album, Sweeter, Gavin expands his musical wardrobe, covering the heart on his sleeve with a jacket of swagger in his funkiest batch of songs to date.
