If I understand the terms correctly, I can purchase 2 of the $60 packages for 12 people. If I do that, does everyone have to attend the same day or will there be 12 separate vouchers that can be used on multiple days?

Each voucher is good for 2. There would be 6 vouchers that would be good for 12. As long as you have 2 people per voucher they can be used on different days up until Dec. 31, 2012.

For my clarification, I can buy the $40 package for up to four people, my 5 year old nephew would be able to get in free so there is no need to upgrade the package dea, but will he have a seat available? when we want to redeem we call ahead or just show up on the day? Yellow Live day means that there will be actual horses and races that day to bet on and watch?

There would be no problem getting an extra set for your nephew. It is best to call ahead rather than show up to make sure your can get a table. You are correct on the calendar. the days marked in yellow means we have live racing

Can you buy this as a gift and is it only redeemable on day of purchase? It's confusing because it says it expires Dec 31st but it is only refundable on day of purchase?

There are no other limitations other than it cannot be used after 12/31/12 .Not valid for Breeder's Cup, 11/2-11/3/12, not valid on 11/24/12. Hope this helps
