Choose Between Two Options

On Saturday, January 5, both Mustangs squads take on the Brock Badgers in a double-header to help fight breast cancer as part of the CIS Shoot for the Cure series. Choose between the following options:

  • $9 for two general-admission tickets (an $18 value)
  • $15 for four general-admission tickets (a $36 value)

The women's team plays first, at 1 p.m., and the men follow immediately afterward at 3 p.m. Doors open at noon.

Each Groupon customer will also receive a noisemaker and megaphone and be entered into a drawing to win an Under Armour jacket. All proceeds from the afternoon's ticket sales will benefit the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, and donation tables for the BCSC, Run for the Cure, and the Cancer Awareness Society will be present at the game.

The Scouting Report

Although the day's events focus on charity, there is still plenty on the line—particularly for the women, who currently stand in the middle of the OUA's West division after seven games. In that same period, senior Jenny Vaughan has led the women's roster with 18.1 points per game, easily eclipsing the men and sophomore Greg Morrow, who commands the court on both ends with 13.9 points per game and 27 defensive rebounds after seven outings.
