Owned by veteran jokesters Andy Fernandez and Randy Lubas—who’ve performed on Comedy Central and in front of troops serving in Iraq—Ventura Harbor Comedy Club teases giggles from gullets five nights a week at its scenic bayside home. The club’s calendar showcases an array of nationally known comics, who stop by to dish out quips and draw mustaches on the driver’s licenses of unsuspecting patrons.

Veteran comedian Ron Kenney (Sunday, December 9), who earned the moniker “Mr. Las Vegas” by opening for the likes of Lou Rawls and Neil Sedaka, splits sides with a standup act honed over his 20-plus years in comedy. Soon thereafter, Logo TV comedienne Jennie McNulty (Thursday, December 13) hosts Rainbow Comedy Night for LGBT-friendly laughs, and funnyman Andrew Norelli (Sunday, December 16) unleashes sharp observations and a low-key charisma that has charmed audiences of the Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live! On Thursday, December 20, a girls' night out features comedienne, lawyer, and motivational speaker Jackie Fabulous, and free cuisine from Savory Cafe.
