BeerProv

Called "one of Canada's most uniquely hilarious live comedy shows" by the Wall Street Journal, BeerProv lubricates off-the-cuff laughter with a healthy dose of booze—both on-stage and off. Before the action begins, host Jim Robinson—of the award-winning troupe Fratwurst—collects audience suggestions to throw at the team of improvisors in the form of premises, games, and song titles. At the end of the night, audience cheers select a winner who's given the opportunity to sip from the coveted BeerProv Mug of Champions. Canadian Comedy Award–winners and Second City-–lumni alike have competed in this thrilling chucklefest, as have improv superstars such as Seán Cullen of Corky and the Juice Pigs and Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It Anyway.

Webster Hall

Selected by Nightclub and Bar magazine as the Best Nightclub of 2011 and designated a city landmark in 2008, Webster Hall's four floors hold more than 125 years of history, from the Grand Ballroom to the Balcony Lounge. The building’s iconic framework has hosted such major acts as Prince and Mick Jagger and served as a speakeasy, a lecture hall, and a mentor to troubled teenage buildings since its construction in 1886.
