$10 for $20 Worth of Paint-Your-Own Pottery

Customers must pay a $5 studio fee, and the remaining $15 value of the Groupon can be used toward items to paint, which start at $3. During paint-your-own pottery sessions, customers choose from hundreds of different ceramic pieces, including food-safe items and decorative knickknacks. Brushes, sponges, stamps, and patterns bolster the creative process, and a staff member will glaze and fire decorated pieces. Final products are available for pickup in about one week. The facility has a BYO policy, allowing customers to bring their own food and drinks to sessions.

Glazed and Confused

Creativity is the main ingredient at Glazed and Confused, where artists-for-the-day adorn hundreds of blank ceramic pieces in personal designs, colors, and patterns. Surrounded by walls of blue, green, purple, and pink, projects evolve under the guidance of the shop's staff members, who offer their own wisdom to elevate each piece to its full potential.

Staffers spread the same artistic savvy when hosting birthday parties, field trips, and adult get-togethers, which can be bolstered with customer-provided beverages in accordance with the studio’s BYO policy. In addition to taking home their own works, patrons can also purchase already-made objects from an artisan boutique, which sells pieces that make for great gifts now or beautiful mosaics after slingshot target practice.
