Owner Dori Mirkow left her job in the accounting world to build clients' confidence instead of their bank accounts. Before opening Goddess Sanctuary, she went back to school and became a licensed aesthetician. She uses her knowledge to deep-clean pores and exfoliate skin during facials, which can be enhanced with specialty masks, paraffin dips, and eye masks. She wraps clients in soothing herbs and minerals, including sea algae, sea clay, or cocoa powder, and bronzes pallid skin with a self-tanning cream that absorbs into freshly exfoliated skin. No matter the service, Mirkow includes reiki, reflexology, and aromatherapy in each one without charging you extra or demanding a map to your coin collection.
