Beauty of Wax has banished unwanted body hair with waxing services in a clean and relaxed environment for nearly two decades, and that's in large part due to its owner, Maribel Ruiz. A licensed cosmetologist and facial specialist through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Ruiz boasts an extensive resume of experience, including training in electrolysis, laser hair removal, and microblading. Ruiz's extensive experience has allowed Beauty of Wax to grow from a one-room, one-employee operation to two full-service spas with nearly a dozen employees. It also garnered Ruiz the "Small Business Person of the Year" award by the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
