Professional drivers navigate buses from the bright lights of downtown Las Vegas to the churning waters of the Hoover Dam. Tours begin when a shuttle picks up each participant at his or her hotel. Shuttles then take guests to air-conditioned motorcoaches, where they head off to view the manmade wonder. A tour guide provides narration of the sights as they pass through cities that include Henderson and Boulder City. Once they've arrived at the Hoover Dam, riders receive a full two hours to tour the onsite power plant or throw confetti from the structure’s top and time how long it takes for it to reach the bottom. The return voyage chauffeurs patrons to the Ethel M Chocolates factory and to a lush botanical garden for a stroll.
