If I understand this correctly, you only attend one class and you become certified? Not a weekend of classes?

Not quite. There are 3 parts to learning how to dive. 1 - Classroom We do this on Friday night and Saturday morning. 2 - Pool session We do this on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. 3 - Open Water Check out dives. These 4 dives are done over 2 days (when the water warms up) OR on vacation to the Carbbean. Check out our web site for details.

You will be qualifed as an Open Water Diver, certified to dive anywhere in the world to 60 feet in an environment that you were trained in.
