Choose from Three Options

The Artesian Cheese Making 101 class empowers participants with the knowledge to transform milk into various types of cheese using special equipment, unique ingredients, and cultures. Students leave the class with recipes for cheeses such as feta, queso blanco, and paneer. During the soap-making class, instructor Donna guides students through the process of crafting their own 1-pound loaf of soap—which equals seven or eight bars—which they take home along with an instruction book.

Green Lotus Studios

Green Lotus Studios' professorial artisans are soap makers, herbalists, and aromatherapists who teach classes in their fields of expertise. Acolytes can expect to craft soaps and lotions with wild-harvested ingredients, make their own kombucha or cheese, or whip up flu-battling herbal stews. With an average class size of six, students enjoy plenty of student-teacher interaction. Workshops emphasize hands-on instruction to empower students to craft their own serums, rather than wait on instructors or outsource to unemployed Rube Goldberg machines.
