During a one-hour session offered once a week, volunteer coaches lead youngsters through an active warm-up followed by soccer-related exercises and team-building activities. Though a uniform shirt is provided, children younger than 4 must bring a size-3 soccer ball, athletic shorts, and athletic shoes or cleats. Additionally, shin guards or under socks are required for the older age groups to prevent players from acquiring scrapes or an even suntan. Participants with weeknight scheduling restrictions should contact William.Mack2@gmail.com to be placed on a team that fits their schedule.

Greensboro United Soccer Association

The volunteer coaches at Greensboro United Soccer Association teach children and adults of all ages and skill levels how to sharpen their soccer skills during various programs. GUSA’s primary goal is to enrich the community, whether it's creating camps to prepare teenagers for their high-school soccer season, or outreach programs that bring pickup soccer games to nearly 150 children in area schools.
