Prior to each noninvasive sun-spot treatment, a skin specialist analyzes your spots to make sure they're not cancerous in nature. Once your spots are approved for treatment, Dr. Samano and certified physician's assistant Heather Richmond target up to 10 unwanted lentigines on the body, or all lentigines on the back of a hand. They treat the spots for about 10–20 minutes with a laser, which eliminates the unwanted pigment.
