The 75-minute workouts are held twice per week either outside during the spring and summer sessions or in the heated gym during winter and fall sessions. Grind Athletix

At age 18, Hadj Gill was a professional boxer with a 33-1 fight record in North America. He spent nine years in the pro circuit before seguing his boxing experience into a new athletic career: personal training. Gill inspires other athletes with the same motivational techniques that kept him competitive on the circuit, tweaking his boxing workouts to incorporate plyometrics moves that help build fast-twitch muscle. These tweaks have evolved into his signature workout system, Grind, which he teaches at Grind Athletix. Grind workouts focus on speed-training, cardio, or lower-body-toning plyometrics, such as lunges, hops, and other explosive movements that emulate the feeling of leaping away from a snake pit. Gill motivates his charges by working out right next to them and switches routines up in order to stave off workout boredom.
