Lasting anywhere between 90–120 minutes, tours amble through the museum's collection of photographs and artifacts commemorating the recovery efforts in the wake of September 11, 2001. Along the way, a personal guide fields questions. Tours generally run twice daily, with an additional tour on Saturday. See the online schedule for specific times.

Ground Zero Museum Workshop

Ground Zero Museum Workshop founder and official Ground Zero photographer for the Uniformed Firefighters Association of Greater New York Gary Marlon Suson aims to lend education and comfort to locals and visitors with a photo exhibition documenting nearly five months of the Ground Zero Recovery. As various artifacts culled from the site's rubble complement an image collection lauded by the New York Times, the space stands as a permanent museum detailing the buildings, victims, heroes, and aftermath of the tragedy. To further its cause, Ground Zero Museum Workshop donates all raised funds and proceeds to benefit six charities, including an effort to treat the Recovery project's sick and disabled workers.
