Group Dynamix

In a cavernous 17,600-square-foot space, Group Dynamix’s staff directs team-building coworkers or gaggles of youngsters through activities designed to encourage bonding and lighthearted competition. Office staffers work through tasks—such as building model covered wagons and racing them—that unite them more than playing a game of Hot Potato with a newly installed printer. Camps might send kids whooshing down a zip line or ascending a rock-climbing wall, and groups duck inside a dark space lined with black lights, where they can play volleyball, dodge ball, and hockey accented by crackling luminous color. Above it all, a ropes course defies gravity in the rafters of the entertainment warehouse.
