Positive Footprint coordinates volunteer opportunities for Austin high-school students by partnering with local nonprofit organizations in need of help. Currently, young volunteers work with organizations dedicated to preventing hunger, homelessness, educational disparities, and disease.
Positive Footprint is organizing six separate volunteer events during which students will contribute more than 360 hours’ worth of work to help nonprofits feed and support central Texans in need. High-school participants blog about their experiences afterward, sharing their endeavors and the value of volunteering with their peers.
Join G-Team and donate $10 to help Positive Footprint sponsor youth volunteer projects to help fight hunger, homelessness, disease, and educational disparities. If G-Team members raise $450, then Positive Footprint can fund six volunteer projects for young people to work alongside Austin nonprofits. Each additional $75 raised will be used to sponsor another youth volunteer project, which includes transportation ($30), supplies and equipment such as name tags and tables ($20), and Gatorade, water, snacks, and sandwiches ($25).
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
