Great Groupon! Picked it up for my 17 year old son who is obsessed with playing guitar. What an awesome gift.

Sarah T.

Do any of the instructors speak spanish?

John T.

PERFECT! I work in the Loop and have been thinking about looking into classes in Linc Sqr. This is a better fit.

James L.

Hi Sarah,
Forrest speaks rudimentary Spanish. Hope that helps!

We look forward to having you all in, please let us know if you have any questions…
Thanks!
Jim

Hi,
My 4 1/2 year old is interested in playing a real guitar. Is this something that would fit his age?
Thanks,
Melissa

i know it says can split 4 lessons between 2 people, but can you change it up any other way?…ie can you use 3 lessons for 1 person, and 1 for another, or can you do one lesson each for 4 different people?

Ryan c.

Do they have guitars that can be used during the lesson? Don’t want to haul my guitar to work and back. Any limitations as to when the lessons take place? What are the instructors hours? Thanks

Angelique R.

Ryan C, read this in the text provided.

If you’re just starting out or recently lost your guitar in an uncontrolled amp smash after a heartfelt acoustic ballad, Guitar Chicago has spare instruments available for use during lessons.

Hi Jim, Why is this groupon limited to new students only? Your existing students would appreciate the opportunity to take advantage of this groupon too.

James L.

Melissa,
It really varies at that age as there is such a wide variation in motor skills…That being said, we have taught kids as young as 4, so if you would like to try it, just let us know!
Ellen,
If you would like to split it up that way, it can be arranged. Just go to the contact page when you are ready to schedule and make a note of that.
Ryan,
Yes, we can provide instruments. That’s what most of our students do. We keep about 10 of them on hand, so there is a bit of a selection.
Kelly,
Unfortunately, it would be tough to offer this to existing students because, like the introductory lesson offer we used to have, it doesn’t really cover all the costs of running the business (building rent, etc). We want to use it as a chance for people to connect with our instructors and get a chance to “check us out” and for some people, see if guitar lessons are right for them.
Thanks!
Jim

Do you have classes for beginners to guitar with no prior learning experience?

James L.

Yes, many of the people that take lessons with us come in with no previous experience on the instrument. We have students that have never touched an instrument before and we have students that just want to enhance their abilities.
