I just want to make sure I have this correct. I can buy this and go to classes as I choose. Once a week for 5 weeks or twice a week for 2.5 weeks? Or buy 2 and double it?

I am also wondering how easy it is to get into classes? I would imagine classes will get filled up quick with all the groupon purchases today. Would be then have to contact to make reservations to get into class and take the risk of being told we can not get into said class?

Hey Morgan, You can come to any of the classes at anytime! It’s very easy to get into the classes, just show up. We’ll give you a punchcard to bring with ya. Classes DO NOT fill up and again, you can go to any!

Zach – your mom did find your stash and she just bought you 10 sessions!haha….

Ok, I am SERIOUSLY considering this because I am 100ish pounds overweight and obviously need to do something to kick my butt into shape… is this the right thing for me? Or would I be biting off more than I can chew(excuse the pun)

Hi Terri, I never want to discourage any from joining us but on the flip side I do not want anyone to get discouraged. This is not like the beach Boot Camps that have mats, rubber balls and bands. We do suicides in the canyon, run stair repeats with dumbbells, and much much more. We were just voted “San Diego’s Hardest Workout” by Competitor Magazine. Is this only good for the classes at Torrey Hills or Carmel Valley? I could only go to Morley field, but don’t see a time listed for classes there?

I have attended Gut Check Fitness Boot Camp and loved it! I highly recommend it for a great workout. It’s both fun and challenging. Joe did not pay me to write this…but he can if he wants to!

Hello Ann! 92121 is actually our Friday run meeting place! On Friday’s at 6 am we meet at Zumbar coffee and run 3-5 miles through PQ canyon then grab coffee for 15 minutes. Our time to chit-chat and catch up! The Torrey Hills park is exactly 1 mile away!

Brilliant. Thanks. Also, not sure that you can really answer this, but a friend is still suffering a little plantar fasciitis, so is minimizing the amount of running he’s doing. Is there much running in the classes?

There is a good amount of running. But here’s an option. At the 6am & 515pm classes, we do upper body stuff on Mon & Wed = little running. On Tues & Thurs we do lower body = more running and cardio! This is an option. Hope this helps!

I made the mistake of going to the Tues class in La Jolla. Although the trainer was amazing, for my first bootcamp workout it was too much. I strained my upper back and shoulders, and my asthma kicked in after hyperventilating. I wish there was a “beginner” session to slowly ease into these workouts.
