This question is a follow-up to a question I already asked: So if I buy the Groupon for Omaha Steaks, then pick my package, and use the Groupon voucher code at checkout, will the $20 Reward E-Card credit me $20 still? And if so, off of what? Because the Groupon code should already bring the total to zero, yes?

If you are trying to combine your Omaha Steaks Reward Card with the Groupon voucher code, this should work, however; you need to purchase an additional $20 worth of items to apply the $20 Reward Card. There is no cash back on the Reward Cards.

I understand I will get a voucher therefore if I want to give it as a gift I will have to send the voucher OR I have read in some of your answers that some people are proposing to mail the steaks themselves. I have received your products before and they are very well packed. What precautions should I take to mail these myself? It is nicer indeed to receive the steaks at your door step rather than a voucher:) Thank you.

When redeeming your voucher, you will have the option to send to a gift recipient. Omaha Steaks will take care of ensuring the package gets delivered to the gift recipient in good condition.

Stephanie - The Groupon package deals expire on January 2, 2012, however; the voucher that you purchased does not expire and can be used beyond that date.

If you order today, your son's gift package will arrive within 5-7 business days. All of our products are shipped UPS and are signature release, meaning your son does not have to be available for delivery.

I purchased the Tastes of the Season for $75 and everything is fine and I can apply the code and it takes out the $75, but I still have to pay for tax. It is only $0.75, so it's not a big deal, but I was wondering if this is correct?

Depending on where the package is shipping, tax may be added to the order. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the tax from the order.

I too had to pay tax, which was misleading, it was NOT included in the fine print. I purchased the $90 selection and it was suppose to handle the entire charge. North Carolina DID NOT have additional taxes listed in the rules. Mine was $1.80 and again, its not the money, it the fact that it is suppose to be ALL included.

Sorry for the confusion! Tax is not included with the Groupon price unless otherwise stated. This applies for all Groupon deals.
