Do you have packages which contain only meat? I am not interested in the potatoes or dessert...pls. advise. Plus, do you just have to print the voucher by jan 2 or do you have to take possession of your package by then? Deadline is confusing...

The Groupon package deals are available at the discounted prices with free shipping only until January 2, 2012. The voucher will not expire and can be applied toward any future purchase beyond that date. If you choose not to purchase one of the package deals, you can create your own package.

You can create your own package and apply the voucher to your order. You do not have to send gift shipments. I'm not sure what other types of coupons you have, but if you place your order over the phone one of our order representatives will be able to assist you.

If I wanted the gift pack to arrive on a particular day like Dec 16 or 19th to ensure the recipient is there to receive the package -- can that be specified ? Must all the meats be grilled ? It seems to be implied in the descriptions of the steaks, etc Also, are the potato au gratin precooked and frozen or all raw components ? Thank you !

You can specify a delivery date closer to the holiday for a small fee of $3. The preparation instructions for all of the products are included with the shipment. The Potatoes Au Gratin can conveniently be cooked in the oven or the microwave.

If we purchase the Groupons for gifts, will the recipients see they are Groupons or just see they are for Omaha? Thank you.

They will be able to see that it is a Groupon for Omaha Steaks.

In order to make redemption as simple as possible, the purchaser or gift recipient name is not displayed on the printed Groupon. This also allows Groupons to be easily gifted to friends or family.

Regarding gifted Groupons specifically, the recipient name, email, and message that you compose when purchasing are included in the email that is sent to the recipient notifying them of the gift. If you print it yourself, the name and message will not appear on the Groupon.

Please note that we include the purchase price on all Groupons (including gifts) so that they can be redeemed for that amount after the expiration date. This is required by expiration laws and simplifies the post-expiration redemption process for customers and businesses.

Can you please clarify about whether or not this can be redeemed at a local store? Earlier inquiries had this answer: "The offer is valid online and mail order. However, if you wish redeem at the retail store, please contact the store ahead of time to ensure they have the inventory available." which sounds like it is okay to redeem at a store. However, another person asked this same question and the response was "Yes, you may place an order over the phone. However, the package can only be shipped to you." Please clarify if I can redeem the Groupon AND OBTAIN THE PRODUCT IN-PERSON from a local store. (Not yelling, just emphasizing the main question.)

I was hoping to buy this groupon as a gift (the one valued at $201.99) but can you clear up some of my confusion? In an earlier question about the voucher redemption and expiration, you said the packages expire by 1/2/12 but the voucher does not. Does this mean the holder of the voucher has $201.99 of credit towards omahasteaks.com if they don't decide to redeem before January 2nd? Also, when the meats, etc. arrive how long do you suggest they may be kept frozen at home? Thank you for answering my questions!

The voucher will be worth the price paid for it ($45, $75 or $90) and this value does not expire. The package deals listed on Groupon do expire on January 2, 2012. When the meats arrive, we recommend using them within six months, however; they are still safe to consume beyond this time frame.

Graham you can specify a delivery date when placing your order. There is a $3 fee to have your package delayed to arrive closer to the holiday.
