Rides cease for the winter on December 18 and start again at the beginning of March.

Show-Me's experienced owner and guide Jeff Strahle leads groups of up to six equestrian enthusiasts down trails that weave through the lush greenery of Big River Ranch's 2,100 acres. Each two-hour outdoor escape begins with a short class covering riding basics and neigh-to-metric system conversions before riders toss their well-mannered, highly trained steed a chew toy and climb aboard. Big River Ranch is home to 50 miles of trails that are perfect for beginning and expert riders alike—depending on the route, pairs ride along scenic woodland hills, down river trails, around a 20-acre lake, or into the nearest sunset after a moving final monologue. Trips are open to junior jockeys 8 and older and are customizable to each rider's experience level.
