The Groupon says “reservations are required for parties of 4 or more”. Does that mean that we have to make reservations or only if we are going to have a party of 4 or more? Could I use it for just myself and one other person?

That just means that if you have four + people in your party to call and make a reservation. Otherwise don’t worry about it.

This would be even better without all the restrictions… dine-in only, maximum of one groupon per person, and 3 month expiration. That being said, I like this restaurant so I’m in.
Jenny, I haven’t been to Hamburger Hamlet in a few years. We used to have one in Costa Mesa but it closed (I live in Lake Forest, in the OC). I have been to West Hollywood a few times and to Bethesda a few times (I’m originally from DC). Nobody short of a real french restaurant makes French Onion Soup as well as Hamburger Hamlet, so I was pleased to jump on this offer. I too was wondering about the three month deadline on this Groupon, because I will be visiting back east in July and could have easily used my Groupon in a new venue, The Rio at Gaithersburg. Instead, I guess it’s time for an excursion out to Sunset Blvd near the Beverly Hills sign. Thanks again…Jimmy

Glad you love Hamburger Hamlet. Unfortunately, this Groupon is exclusive to the California locations. But who knows, you may be seeing something on the East Coast in the near future!!

Hi, one of my roommates is only off from work monday nights and we were wondering if we would be able to use this groupon tonight if we bought it now

You are correct, typically you can’t use the deal until the day after the feature (unless otherwise statesd). I did speak with Hamburger Hamlet and they said they would be happy to honor the Groupon today.

Vadim: This particular Groupon isn’t good for alcohol. So as long as the food isn’t being discounted on an offer- you are fine to use it!

Had lunch at the Pasadena HH today. Yummy Crispy Calamari and Tiger Shrimp and delicious “The Stella” combos. Great service and good value, especially with the Groupon. Wanted more groupons yesterday but “buy it for a friend” link didn’t work. Hope you have the Groupons again – soon. Thank you.
Hi,
I attempted to use this expired Groupon today and the manager said they would not honor it. My understanding was that merchants would credit the Groupon purchase price towards any deal the Groupon had expired on. True?

The expiration date on this one is so soon — just three months away and I’m curious, why? I noticed the other food deal today expires on the same date. Is this shorter time span the new trend? Most restaurant groupons have been good for at least 6 months. I have quite a collection built up and wouldn’t want one to expire before I get a chance to go there, although I know it maintains its original value. Since the deal is already listed, is this date set in stone or could you get them to extend it? Thanks.
