The tranquil environs of Healing Hands by Sherrie take visitors on a journey, almost literally. The rooms inside the 2,000-square-foot, two-story facility double as an international tour—the lobby is decorated to resemble a South African rainforest, the Native American treatment room feels like an authentic sweat lodge, and other chambers transport clients to destinations in China and India. There, staff members administer soothing massages on tables equipped with portable steam devices, perform energy-based techniques such as reflexology and polarity therapy, and apply herb-infused body treatments designed to free clients of toxin buildup. When they're finished relaxing, guests can meander over to the in-house café, where they can savor bistro dishes, fondue, and other equally satisfying cuisine. Healing Hands also plans to expand later in the year to add an additional 1,400 square feet with a new café and additional services.
