Health Strategies

Dr. Cramer Reed and Wesley Medical Center collaborated on the original Health Strategies, which opened in 1980 in the basement of the residents’ dorm and focused mainly on Wesley’s employees’ health. Today, after several expansions, Health Strategies now is able to serve even more of the Wichita community. Amenities include cardio machines with individual TVs, a strength-training room with machines and free weights, a cushioned indoor track, and a 25-meter pool. Members can also enlist in personal-training sessions or fitness classes, such as Zumba, Yoga, and SilverSneakers, a routine targeted to seniors.
