Visitors shouldn’t be fooled by the small space that Healthy Look Salon inhabits—it still manages to fit in areas for beauty services from head to toe. A nine-woman styling staff comprises the salon’s hair division, clipping and highlighting locks or adding hair extensions to make it easier for helper monkeys to climb up on clients’ shoulders. Two nail technicians brush polish over fingernails and toenails, and an on-staff massage therapist kneads tense muscles in 30-, 60-, and 90-minute increments. Ever conscious of its community, the salon takes part in such charitable events as Relay for Life.
