Historic Rosemont Manor

What do Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard M. Nixon all have in common besides their occupancy of the Oval Office? Each former president has experienced the Southern hospitality, historic charms, and bountiful breakfasts of the Historic Rosemont Manor. Set on 60 acres of rolling Virginian real estate, the Georgian-style manor has endured more than 200 years of presidential visitations, drawing favorable comparisons to Mount Vernon, Monticello, and James Madison’s groovy pad.

A visit to the main manor house takes guests beneath a columned portico. Inside, tour-goers view the main floor of the manor, including such rooms as a grand foyer, a parlor, and a sunroom. Outside on the property’s expansive grounds, mature oaks and poplars provide shade for azaleas, dogwoods, and an intriguing abundance of rare trees.
