How do I find out where the seats are?

Hi Susan,

The event actually occurs in the restaurant and patio space above third base, “Town Ball Tavern.” Guests will be able to watch the All-Star Game on the big screen televisions in the Town Ball Tavern Space and outside on the Captain Morgan Patio.

We hope to see you there!

Will Town Ball Tavern and the patio be open to the public or just ticket holders for this event? I can’t get much info on this location from the Target field site. Want to know if a 9 year old will be able to view the game from the patio or will adults be lined up in front of him?

Susan,

The game is actually not happening at Target Field. The All-Star Game is in Anaheim this year. This event is a private event to watch a screening of the All-Star Game. This event is not open to the public. There are over 20 big-screen televisions in the Town Ball Tavern and Patio area – so there will be ample room to see and watch the game.

Will the food be all you can eat, and will the game be up on the jumbotron?

Will there be any other activities going on? Silent auction? Memorabilia? Twins players, staff? etc? Prizes? Kids activities? Will the proshop be open??

Am I understanding it right that it’s a $40 ticket to watch a game on a large screen in a bar at Target Field? Food is included, but doesn’t seem like a great deal.

Daniel L. – the food is a buffet style – we’ll order enough for as many people as we have! Burgers, corn dogs, Cracker Jacks, etc.

John N. – there will be activities for kids, as well as fundraising auctions, gift cards, door prizes, etc. We have autographed Justin Morneau prints, baseball themed prizes, etc. The proshop will not be open.

Kate-Madonna H. This is an opportunity to see Target Field without the hustle and bustle of a game day. Guests will have an “inside look” of a game…without a game at the stadium. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about a phenomenal Minneapolis nonprofit. Our normal priced tickets begin at $75, and we’ve had great response!

Thanks for your questions!

Just found out that $20 of the ticket price goes to PUC- which, is fantastic. So, really: food, ticket and chance for inside peek at Target field for $20. Better deal.

Will there be an actual tour of the stadium, too? It looks like the doors open about an hour before the first pitch, will participants be allowed to tour the actual stadium or just go to the restaurant and see if from a distance?

Tammi B.

oops – one more question, are children under a certain age free or will they need tickets, too?

Tammi,

We do have options for stadium tours with our higher priced ticket options at www.puc-mn.org, but this ticket does not include a tour. However, we do have access to most of the third base side of the ballpark, which gives you many vantage points.

Kids do need tickets as well. For security purposes, all attendees must have a ticket.

Thanks,

Marcy, PUC Marketing Department.
